The BIOS App simplifies the use of BIOS-SYSTEMS for dogs, humans, and horses. With its user-friendly interface, it helps you optimally manage the health and wellbeing of you and your animals.

Installation and Initial Setup

  • Important: The app only works with black controllers with 6 buttons on the back.
  • Preparation: Enable Bluetooth, GPS, and the data connection on your smartphone.

Firmware Update

  • Controllers with firmware version 1.0.7 (shipped by the end of January 2024) require an update. You can find details in the app manual.

Connecting the Controller

  • Bluetooth: Connect via the BIOS app, not manually via the smartphone.
  • Important: Only one smartphone can be connected to the controller at a time.
  1. Create an Account or Log In:
    • Sign in at https://apps.equusir.com.
    • Go to "My Profile / 6 API ACCESS".
    • If necessary, generate an API key and scan the QR code or copy the token.
  2. Connect the Controller:
    • Scan the QR code or copy the API token into the app.
    • Make sure Bluetooth, GPS, and the data connection are enabled on your smartphone.
    • The app will automatically detect and connect to the EQUUSIR BIOS controller.
  1. Create a Profile: Create profiles for horses, dogs, or friends.
  2. Manage Devices: Name your controller for easier identification.
  3. Select Program: Choose the profile, program, and duration.
  4. Start Program: Start the program. It will continue running even if the Bluetooth connection is interrupted.
  • LED Indicators: Different LED patterns indicate the status of the controller (connection, program start, battery).
  • History and API Key: The usage history is saved under "ANALYSIS" in the profile. You can renew the API key at any time.

Note: Custom programs are valid for 28 days and can only be started via the app.
